Services

Electroplating
Specialised electroplating on plastic, brass and most conductive metals. Whether for automotive, industrial or decorative applications – contact us for a flawless finish that enhances durability, corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

Chrome-Stripping
Safe removal of old, damaged or unwanted plating, for a bare metal finish. Our process ensures a smooth surface, ready for re-finishing or keeping a vintage metal look.

Re-chroming
After removing corrosion and wear on products that have tarnished, we give it a new, durable layer that enhances both appearance and longevity.

Metal Polishing
High quality machine polishing for metal parts. This process removes imperfections, oxidation and scratches for a professional finish.

Lacquering
Matte and gloss lacquering:
1. On suitable products after we’ve completed the electroplating process.
2. On automotive metal and electoplated surfaces.
Our durable coatings enhance corrosion resistance and prevent tarnishing while preserving a sleek appearance.
Frequently asked questions

What is electroplating?
The process of coating a metal or plastic object by electrolytic deposition with chromium, silver, or another metal.
Electroplating creates a protective barrier to reduce friction and prevent tarnishing of a surface as well as protecting surfaces from wear an tear by applying a thin, durable metal coating.
Why electroplating?
Electroplating improves the appearance of a product with a smooth, decorative, metallic finish. It adds a protective layer that helps prevent corrosion, wear and tarnish.
Depending on the material used, it can improve electrical conductivity, reduce friction, or provide a specific look – for example a glossy, mirror-like chrome, or antique brass.
What products can be plated?
Most conductive metals, as well as ABS plastic.
ABS plastic boasts exceptional overall properties while being easy to process and shape. Its surface can be treated to enhance coating adhesion, therefore not all plastics are suitable.
What are common examples of items that are often electroplated?
- Car parts – badges, trim, wheels, exhaust tips.
- Bathroom accessories – taps, shower heads, towel rails.
- Jewelry – rings, necklaces, bracelets.
- Hardware – door handles, hinges, bolts and electric elements.
- Electronics – connectors, circuit boards (for conductivity and corrosion resistance).
- Home décor – picture frames, lamps, metal ornaments.
- Cutlery and kitchenware – forks, spoons, trays, appliances.

Can I replate a product that has tarnished?
Certainly! Products often corrode, peel or rust over time, especially in coastal areas. We have a solution to that, we strip the part of its old coating and re-plate so it’s back to brand new.
What is the waiting time?
Contact us to discuss and we’ll provide you with a quotation and time frame based on product quantity and size.
On Average:
Electroplating – 10 business days can be expected.
Lacquering add-on – This on average requires an additional 2 working days.
Lacquering standalone service – Approximately 5 working days.
Can my product be electroplated?
While we specialise in plating on conductive metals and ABS plastic, on occasion there may be constraints to electroplating an item. Contact us to assess whether your product can be plated.
